WORLD’S BEST PARTIES Berlin is the world capital of electronic music, clubs and nightlife. It has the greatest selection and offers, which doesn’t necessari- ly mean it always has the best parties. My favourite parties were in Moscow, Beirut, Seoul and Belgrade. The difference between a good and a bad party is in the people, and in these places people have heart and are energetic, full of emotions and without inhibi- tions. In Europe and North America everything looks similar, with some exceptions, and I had my best experiences in the Near and Far East, in Eastern Europe and South America.

She experiences her work more like a sport than like fun - The most difficult aspect is estab- lishing the mental and physical discipline that is essential to sustain that lifestyle and tempo. I calculated recently that in the past few months I’ve boarded 1.5 planes per day, often after just a little or no sleep, and then immediately headed for the next party or festival. Last year I slept in 70 different beds, and this year I’ve already reached the same number by September. Being a DJ means a lot of work during the day, preparing mu- sic and sets; we don’t come to parties like other guests. She always has stage fright - When I stop feeling stage fright,

Famous friends My dearest friendship is with Eddie Stevens. He’s not a big star, but he’s be- hind several star projects. He led the band Moloko, producing and arranging their al- bums. Since then he has made music and performed with Róisín Murphy, who is my favourite contemporary pop figure. This man, his knowledge, experience and sup- port, are extremely valuable to me. Hobby I carry my two cameras, with lots of film, with me everywhere. My Olympus Mju-ii is my best friend. I like documenta- ry photography and architecture. I have an entire series of photos from all around the world; I could certainly already stage several exhibitions.

I’ll seek out a new profession. Standing in front of several hundred or thousand people who have some kind of expecta- tions of you, who want you to entertain and inspire them, to get them moving, is enough reason for stage fright. Every time – says Tijana honestly. Club fashion and trends Belgraders have always liked to fol- low trends. In the underground scene there is no difference; subcultures are easily connected and recognised inter- nationally. Frankly, I stopped paying at- tention to fashion. The only thing I man- aged to notice is the return of the Gothic trend, which I remember from my teen- age days, and various elements of fash- ion from the ‘90s.
