“tell” is not boring for anyone. In front of you are models from his latest collection, which he took a long time to develop, starting way back in his student days. He drew in- spiration from Goethe’s old dictum that says our passions are like the Phoenix, with the burning of one im- mediately leading to the birth of ano- ther from the ashes. - I tried to refute the idea that one passion must burn up in order for another one to be born, and jud- ging by the impressions I heard af- ter the show, I believe we’ve done a good thing. These gorgeous models are domi- nated by natural materials and han- dmade details, while each model is connected by two of Igor’s different artistic directions - the graphic in- fluence from the Designer school in Belgrade and inspiration from his stu- dies in Rome. - Through the implementation of this monogram, I tried to merge graphics and fashion in such a way that neither discipline is neglected. In connecting material, the play was based on the idea of using different types, densities and weights of fabri- cs to produce a sketch that is clear- ly defined in fashion terms, but also graphically - Igor explains. Igor believes natural materials are timeless in fashion. - Fabrics are changing so that they will soon be the key to overall fashi- on innovation. By dealing with this job I developed a conditioned reflex to feel certain materials through the finished item. This means that when I touch silk, for instance, I feel again and again the need to make somet- hing new from it. Quite simply, that si- lk under my fingers launches an idea... He always tries to find a universal language in his work. He talks about how our country, in its tradition and heritage, has numerous examples of that which can be placed in the con- text of high fashion. - Today it is intended for those who want to have authenticity, unique- ness and to make a spectacle of the- ir appearance. I’d like to underline that it is not exclusively tied to major brands, but rather high fashion was, and will always be, primarily the work of someone’s golden hand. And the- re are creators like that among many unknown authors and artisans, both in our country and elsewhere in the world - Igor says.
The most important part of women’s style is attitude – attitude towards self and others. It unmistakably reveals the atmosphere of a certain woman and makes her style authentic
