This futuris- tic creation was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, winner of the prestigious Pritz- ker Prize, and is actually a mu- seum. And although you are of course not in Paris, you will soon be able to step into the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, or rather a branch of the famous French museum that has already secured some of the most prestigious collec- tions and works of the world’s best artists. The Louvre in the Emira- tes represents only part of the group of museums and art cen- tres that will comprise the Cul- tural District of Saadiyat Island (Happiness Island).
