L ocated in the southern re- gion of the Balkan Penin- sula, it has many points of contact with Serbian culture and history, while at the same time it has been devel- oping swiftly in recent years. The na- ture is fantastic, comprising most- ly rocky areas with a lot of winding, serpentine roads. As you approach the southern part of the sea, you will spot beautiful mountain landscapes and streams that follow you as you head towards the vast blueness. But you’ll also notice a differ- ent, antiquated way of life. There are many cattle farmers and you will see herds beside the roads, but then you’ll come across fantastic summer holiday resorts.
