Gradonačelnik Siniša Mali, koji je inicirao ovaj projekat, ističe da je Be- ograd dom svih Beograđana i da oni treba da imaju pravo da odlučuju za koje projekte će Grad izdvojiti novac. – Beograđani najbolje znaju šta nedostaje u njihovom komšiluku. Bi- lo da je to novi park, teretana na otvo- renom, vrtić, dom zdravlja… Mi ćemo slušati njihove ideje i predloge i spro- vesti ih u delo. To je partnerski odnos s građanima koji želimo da gradimo – rekao je gradonačelnik Beograda. Beograđani imaju mogućnost da glasaju putem mobilne aplikacije „Be- okom servisa“, kao i u zgradama svo- jih opština. Svi predlozi koji su obrađe- ni se zatim pojavljuju na „BG portalu“ i na pomenutoj aplikaciji, gde građa- ni dalje mogu da glasaju za predlo- žene projekte. U prve dve nedelje na adresu Grada stiglo je oko 5.000 ideja Beograđana. U centralnim gradskim opštinama oni su najviše tražili nove fasade, biciklističke staze i zelene po- vršine, a u rubnim opštinama nove ki- lometre asfalta, nove domove zdravlja... – Zanimljivo je da smo saznali da se čitavi komšiluci udružuju kako bi njihova ideja pobedila. Građani su se aktivirali, bore se zajedno s nama, i to je nova energija koju više niko ne mo- že da zaustavi – zaključio je gradona- čelnik Beograda. Predlozi koji budu dobili najviše glasova Beograđana biće sprovedeni u delo, a građani će znati da su baš oni zaslužni za teretanu na otvorenom ili igralište za decu koji su izgrađeni u blizini njihove kuće.

few years ago, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo gave Parisians the keys to
the budget and the opportunity to choose how part of the city’s funds would be used. The residents of Paris voted for so-called green projects, wanting living plant walls to be planted in the city, as well asgardens for learning. Now Belgraders are being given the op- portunity to offer their own ideas for gen- trifying the city. The City of Belgrade has launched the ‘For Works Tailored to You’ project, which will enable every citizen of the capital to present their ideas for city-level projects worth 200 million di- nars each and neighbourhood projects, at the municipal level, worth 10 million dinars each. Mayor Siniša Mali, who initiated this pro- ject, notes that Belgrade is home to all Belgraders and they should all have the right to decide which projects will be al- located city funding. - Belgraders know best what their neigh- bourhood is lacking. Whether it’s a new park, an outdoor gym, nursery, health cen- tre etc., we will listen to their ideas and suggestions and carry them out. This is a partnership relationship that we want to build with the citizens - said the may- or of Belgrade. Belgraders have the option of voting via the“Beokom servis”mobile phone app or at their local municipal buildings. All pro- cessed proposals then appear on the“BG portal” site and the aforementioned ap- plication, where citizens can vote for pro- posed projects. The City received about 5,000 ideas from Belgraders in the first two weeks alone. Residents of central city mu- nicipalities mainly sought new façades, cycle lanes and green zones, while citi- zens of peripheral municipalities request- ed new roads, health centres etc. - Interestingly, we have learned that entire neighbourhoods are joining forces to en- sure their idea wins. Our citizens have be- come really activate are engaging with us, and that’s an energy that can’t be stopped by anybody - concluded Mayor Mali. The proposals that receive the most votes will be implemented, and Belgraders will know that they have been personally re- sponsible for the outdoor gyms or chil- dren’s playgrounds built near their home.
