ŠEKSPIR, ANTIČKA SCENA I PINK FLOJD TO JE MOJ SAN SCENOGRAF, KOSTIMOGRAF, ARHITEKTA SCENOGRAPHER, COSTUME DESIGNER, ARCHITECT SHAKESPEARE, AN ANTIQUE STAGE AND PINK FLOYD – THAT’S MY DREAM
M iodrag Tabački od ra- nog detinjstva oslušku- je disanje pozorišta. Od kada je video prvu pred- stavu, zamišljao je svoj teatar. Diplo- mirao je arhitekturu i scenografiju u Beogradu kako bi svoj potpis sta- vio na pozorišne scene. Na beograd- skom Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti studentima režije predaje scenogra- fiju i kostimografiju. Opušta se ple- šući tango. Kada se u vama probudila ta kreativna raskoš? – Od obdaništa sam se igrao i ek- sperimentisao olovkama, bojama, cr- težima... Često sam crtao karikature drugara, a slikao sam i akvarele u pri- rodi. Bio sam član školskih likovnih i dramskih sekcija u osmoletki i gi- mnaziji. Roditelji, Zorica i Ljubomir, bili su prosvetni radnici. Imali su dara za crtanje, slikanje i muziku, a voleli su pozorište. Vodili su me u Pozori- šte za decu Boško Buha u Beogradu. Krajem gimnazije sam bio zaveden delima nekih uspešnih arhitekata i za te studije sam se prvo opredelio. Na drugoj godini studija arhitekture upisao sam Akademiju za primenjene

He graduated in architecture and scenography in Belgrade, so he could add his signature to the stage. He lectures in sce- nography and costume design at the Belgrade Faculty of Dramatic Arts. And relaxes by danc- ing the tango. When did that profusion of creativi- ty awaken in you? - I used to play and experiment with pen- cils, paints and drawings back in nursery school. I also often drew caricatures of my friends, and painted watercolours in nature. I was a mem- ber of the fine art and drama sections in both my primary and secondary schools. My parents, Zorica and Ljubomir, were education workers. They were gifted in drawing, painting and mu- sic, and they also loved the theatre. They took me to the Boško Buha Children’s Theatre in Bel- grade. At the end of secondary school, I was se- duced by some successful architects and first opted to study that. During the second year of architecture studies, I enrolled in the Academy of Applied Arts, in the costume design section, and graduated from the scenography section. In which order would you present yo- urself: scenographer, costume desi- gner, architect ...?
Voleo bih da se nađem pred teško rešivim zadatkom,
inspirišu me komplikovani projekti. Ipak,
svestan sam da se od vizuelnog sve manje očekuje i zahteva. Senzibilitet današnjeg gledaoca je sve svedeniji I like to find myself confronted by a task that’s difficult to solve; I’m inspired by complicated projects. Still, I’m also aware that less is expected and demanded visually. The responsiveness of today’s viewer has been reduced
