During encounters with the audience, Božo succeeds in touching that primal, for- gotten humanity, empathy, goodness, and prompts an emotion that has almost been banished from everyday life by presenting topics and people who we would, in differ- ent circumstances, be at least ashamed of. - The audience is the one who evalu- ates quality. I think that without that quality my visual expression would be too much for our conservative society. I do not sat- isfy the masses. My audience is comprised of people who do not have any kind of blockage in their heads, who know clearly that anything worth hearing doesn’t have to have an appearance that is necessari- ly appropriate to them at that moment. Following acappella concerts and al- bums in which Božo was dedicated to (re) interpretations of tradition, the latest al- bum, Pandora, saw Božo shine in boldly embarking on experimentation, filtering his songs through strange electronic vi- sions. It is hard not to register the need for Vrećo to communicate with this region at the present time, with music that is time- less and out of time, as he is himself. - I opened Pandora ... All that was ug- ly flew out, only faith, love and hope re- mained. I’m delighted to be able to walk freely through Sarajevo, Belgrade and any other city. I recently stayed in Paris, which is a monumental, cosmopolitan city, and a city that promotes diversity, and the audi- ence there reacted to my energy... Because it is not created by a plan.

ravno je revolucionarnom podvigu. Svoju umetnost i sebe Božo pred- stavlja intenzivno, upečatljivo i be- zrezervno, što u trenutku razoruža- va svakog ko je sklon osudi iz bilo kakvih pobuda. – Osim glasa, mislim da je važna i moja pokretljivost, gestikulacija na sceni. Ali muško-ženski dualizam koji mi je svojstven, to je glavna ka- rika koja povezuje mene i sevdalin- ku, jer ona je u suštini bezrodna ili, bolje reći, sverodna. Mislim da je važna i moja plesna forma, vizuel- ni identitet, koji podjednako pleni i zajedno s glasom fascinira. To me čini specifičnim. Svako od nas na sceni ima svoju publiku. Prilikom susreta s publikom, Bo- žo uspeva da dotakne iskonsku, za- boravljenu ljudskost, empatiju, do- brotu i da pokrene emociju koja je gotovo prognana iz svakodnevice ustupajući mesto temama i ljudima kojih bismo se, u drugačijim okol- nostima, u najmanju ruku stideli. – Ma publika je ona koja ceni kvalitet. Mislim da bi bez tog kva- liteta moj vizuelni izraz bio previ- še za naše konzervativno društvo.
Ja masama ne udovoljavam. Moju publiku čine ljudi koji nemaju ni- kakvu blokadu u svojim glavama, jasno znaju da sve ono što vredi čuti ne mora imati pojavnost ka- kva je njima možda u tom trenut- ku odgovarajuća. Nakon akapela koncerata i al- buma na kojima se posvetio (re)in- terpretaciji tradicionala, Božo je na poslednjem albumu Pandora pro- sto briljirao smelo se upuštajući u eksperiment, propuštajući svoje pe- sme kroz čudne elektronske vizu- re. Teško je ne registrovati potrebu da Vrećo komunicira s ovim podne- bljem u trenutku sadašnjem, s mu- zikom vanvremenskom i svevreme- nom, kakav je i on sam. – Otvorio sam Pandorinu kuti- ju... Sve ono ružno je izletelo, ostale su samo vera, ljubav i nada u njoj. Presrećan sam što se mogu slobod- no šetati Sarajevom, Beogradom i bilo kojim gradom. Nedavno sam boravio u Parizu, koji je monden- ski, kosmopolitski i grad koji pro- pagira različitost, i tamo je publika reagovala na moju energiju... Za- to što ona nije planski kreirana.
