Zemun: Zemun used to be a town in its own right, located on the border of Austria-Hungary, across the river from Belgrade. Now it’s part of Belgrade, but its distinct Austrian heritage is evident. The old town is preserved and is landmarked by the river and two wonderful spires from the old churches. I find it equally fascinating visiting the more modern part of Zemun, the best streets to me are those that border the two – you can find some quirky buildings and old traders there. The standout restaurant in Zemun is Šaran - an outstanding family-run restaurant selling both sea and freshwater fish. The best fish I’ve ever had. If you catch a cab to Šaran, get out a little early and walk along the riverbank, you’ll feel like you’re in a different city. – izuzetno porodično mesto koji nudi specijalitete od morske i slatkovodne ribe. Tu sam jeo najbolju ribu! Ako uhvatite taksi do Šarana, izađite malo ranije i idite niz reku, osećaćete se kao da ste u drugom gradu. Design District: This hidden gem was an abandoned shopping area and looks gritty and unwelcoming from certain approaches, but don’t let that put you off. You’ll find high fashion from local designers, craftsmen and women selling their wares direct, as well as great coffee, wine and music.. nepristupačno kad dolazite iz određenih pravaca, ali ne dajte da vas to odbije. Tu ćete naći vrhunsku modu – od lokalnih dizajnera do zanatlija i žena koje direktno prodaju svoju robu, ali i odličnu kafu, vino i muziku. Zemun: Zemun je nekad bio zaseban grad, sa druge strane granice sa Austrijom, preko reke. Sada je deo Beograda, ali očigledno je zadržao posebno austrijsko nasleđe. Stari grad je očuvan i prepoznatljiv po rekama i divnim tornjevima starih crkava. Smatram da je jednako fascinantno posetiti modernije delove Zemuna, a najbolje su ulice u kojima se graniče staro i novo, moderne zgrade i stari trgovci. Najbolji restoran u Zemunu je Šaran Design District: Ovaj skriveni dragulj je nekada bio napušteni tržni centar i danas izgleda pomalo
Homa: You won’t really stumble upon this tucked away restaurant, so make a note of its location. Homa is a modern, world class bistro serving seasonal dishes, perfect for a romantic meal. They do have a kid’s menu...but honestly keep this place to yourselves! Have the taster menu with paired wine. The Serbian wine is excellent. The service staff is warm and informative, while the food is incredible. You can thank me later. Homa: Necete baš naleteti slučajno na ovaj ušuškani restoran, pa zato sebi pribeležite da tamo odete. Homa je moderan, svetski klupski bistro, koji služi sezonska jela kao savršen romantičan obrok. Ima i dečji meni, ali pošteno da vam kažem, zadržite ovo mesto za sebe! Probajte meni u kombinaciji sa srpskim vinom koje je odlično. Osoblje je toplo i na raspolaganju, a hrana je neverovatna. Možete mi se kasnije zahvaliti.

Botanical Gardens Conservatory: When we first arrived at the gardens we were honestly a little disappointed. We’ve been spoilt in the UK, with amazing gardens to visit up and down the country. But then we found the conservatory and headed in from the cold. Wow - what a place. Packed with tropical and arid flora, these rooms took my breath away. Don’t forget your camera - take lots of pictures and selfies as you’ll be able to convince others that Belgrade is tropical even in winter. Staklena bašta: Kada smo prvi put stigli u Botaničku baštu, bili smo pomalo razočarani. U Velikoj Britaniji smo se malo razmazili neverovatnim baštama koje možete naći na svakom koraku. Ali onda smo ugledali staklenu baštu i ušli da se sakrijemo od hladnoće. Kakvo mesto! Puno tropskog bilja i čudesne flore, oduzelo mi je dah... Nemojte zaboraviti na kameru – snimite mnogo slika i selfija kako biste mogli da dokažete drugima da je Beograd egzotičan u zimskom periodu i ubedite ih u to.
