PRIZNANJE AMBASADE UAE ZA ER SRBIJU

Ambasada Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata u Srbiji obeleži- la je na svečanosti u beogradskom hotelu Hajat 47. go- dišnjicu osnivanja Emirata i 100. godišnjicu rođenja prvog predsednika Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, šeika Zajeda bin Sultana el Nahjana. Tom prilikom podeljene su i nagra- de institucijama i kompanijama, među kojima je i Er Srbija. Nagradu je komercijalnoj direktorki Dragani Frantov Nikolić uručio ambasador UAE u Beogradu Mubarak el Daheri. Er Srbiju je na svečanosti predstavljao i Goran Grozdanić, di- rektor Letačke operative.

Zbog čega je poziv pilota specifičan u odnosu na druge profesije? – Pored opštepoznatog da poziv pilota podrazumeva radnu discipli- nu i stalnu nadogradnju znanja, specifičnost vidim i u tome što je pilot u vazdušnom saobraćaju pod stalnim nadzorom. Osim kontrole leta, nad- zire nas i avion kojim upravljamo, koji na svakom letu memoriše veliki broj podataka. Ti podaci se periodično očitavaju i analiziraju. Koja anegdota s leta vam je ostala u posebnom sećanju? – Prilikom prvog leta na obuci za kapetana, uspeo sam da dobrodoš- licu putnicima objavim na frekvenciji kontrole leta u Beogradu umesto u putničkoj kabini. Shvatio sam šta sam uradio tek posle objave na srp- skom, dok sam hvatao vazduh za objavu na engleskom. I to po aplauzu i komentarima kolega. Svima je bilo simpatično, osim meni. Da li je teže upravljati avionom u zimskim mesecima ne- go leti? Ima li tu razlike i posebnog izazova za pilota?

Apart from air trac control, we’re also overseen by the plane we’re man- aging, which memorises large amounts of data during every ight. That da- ta is read and analysed periodically. Do you have a particular ight anecdote that’s remained in your memory? - During my rst ight to start training to become a captain, I managed to announce the welcome greeting to passengers on the frequency of air trac control in Belgrade, in- stead of in the passenger cabin. I only realised what I’d done after making the announce- ment in Serbian, as I was drawing breath to make the announcement in English. And do- ing so as my colleagues applauded and commented. Everybody enjoyed it, except me. Is it more dicult to handle a plane during the winter months than it is in sum- mer? Is there any dierence and specic challenge for the pilot in that regard? - The winter and summer seasons both have their own specicities. That’s precise- ly why simulator preparations and knowledge tests are designed in such a way that an airline prepares its pilots for the upcoming season. However, winter months, especially when there is precipitation, are more challenging for pilots than summer months. Run- ways and airport taxiing surfaces are very often contaminated and slippery. It is necessary to de-ice the aircraft, which very often leads to delays. Likewise, we also have more landings in conditions of low visibility.

The opportunity to hire a nanny during the Eti- had ight was introduced in 2013, which is very help- ful for parents.
