O ce in Beethoven’s honour The capital of Austria is preparing to celebrate the 250 th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethov- en. Despite this important jubilee only arriving in 2020, the‘WienBee- thoven2020’coordination o ce has already been opened in his honour. It will collaborate with institutions and major cities around the world, organising celebrations, scienti c gatherings and exhibitions featuring this famous composer.
Glavni grad Austrije se priprema za slavlje povodom 250 godina od rođenja Ludviga van Betovena. Iako ovaj važan jubilej pada tek 2020. godine, u Betovenovu čast već je otvorena kancelarija WienBeethoven2020. Ona će sarađivati s institucijama i metropolama u celom svetu i organizovati svečanosti, naučne skupove i izložbe o slavnom kompozitoru.

Athens 500 years since the death of genius
Sledeće godine biće obeleženo 500 godina od smrti Leonarda da Vinčija, italijanskog vajara, slikara i izumitelja, kog istoričari umetnosti svrstavaju u najveće genije ljudskog roda. To je bio povod za izložbu Leonardo da Vinči – 500 godina genija, koja je otvorena u prostoru atinskog starog OSY depota . Posetioci imaju priliku da istraže život i rad ovog velikog umetnika kroz modele njegovih brojnih izuma i interaktivnih mašina. Izložba je otvorena do 31. marta.
This year marks the 500 th anniversary of the death of Italian sculptor, painter and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, who is classi ed by art his- torians among the greatest geniuses of the human race. This jubilee provided the occa- sion to stage the exhibition“Leonardo da Vin- ci - 500 Years of Genius”, which has opened in Athens’Old Depot OSY. Visitors can explore the life and works of this great artist through models of his numerous inventions and in- teractive machines. The exhibition runs un- til 31 st March.
