What I did: Build and manage lending group relationships, communicate with commercial lenders to clarify loan details, input loans and collateral into software, enter financial data for business and individuals, run credit reports, perform collateral analysis and calculate collateral value, calculate amortization schedules and financial ratios, analyze balance sheets and income statements, review personal cash flow and write an analysis, evaluate risk ratings, complete full credit write-ups summarizing financial and risk analysis. What I liked: I really enjoyed the exposure to real-world financial analysis and the collaboration within the company to get the write-ups done. I also enjoyed strengthening my analytical skills when it comes to the credit analysis position. Future Dream Job: Financial analyst, although I am still exploring different opportunities to find what is best for me.
