The Public and Social Welfare department offers financial counselling and assistance to residents’ families to help them manage challenges effectively. Our team works closely with families to assess residents’ needs and ensure appropriate placement within residential care. Staff Training and Education 8 Certified by the Institute of Technical Education as an approved On-the- Job Training Centre since 1998, and an Approved Training Centre since 2001, Lions Home conducts regular in-house training to continuously upgrade staffs’ skills. This ensures our staff remains up-to-date with clinical advancements and evolving healthcare practices.

Our end-of-life care service offers residents comfort and specialised support during their final stages

Physiotherapists and occupational therapists design individualised rehabilitation programmes aligned with each resident’s clinical care plan. These therapies enhance quality of life for residents living with functional impairments, chronic conditions or dementia, supporting their independence while providing comfort and encouragement. Therapies include: Advanced Technological Therapies For pain relief, muscle activation and recovery across upper and lower limbs: • Electrotherapy (BIXEPS, Super Inductive System) • Robotic-assisted hand therapy (Syrebo Glove) Holistic Rehabilitation Enhancing emotional, cognitive, social and physical wellbeing through: • Music, Art & Social Therapy • Group Exercises & Sports • Social Activities & Community Outings
