first day I was shy because I didn’t know anyone, but I got to know a lot of people. I would come back for a longer time because two weeks was too short. This was a very good experience.” Eleven-year-old Rory Morris , a student of Harrison College, also enjoyed the summer programme: “When I was introduced to the camp, I wasn’t too excited about it. It was very confusing because I didn’t know what we were going to do, if
we’d have to dress up like clowns and wear wigs. But I hoped for the best and I had a very good time. The two weeks flew by and now I would prefer [the programme] to be three to four weeks.” It was precisely such passion and enthusiasm that Head of the Department of Creative and Performing Arts Andrew Millington was hoping would be stirred. He said the programme not only taught skills but contributed to the development of
