Twin Volume Examines Impact of COVID
L ast 7 November saw the Roberts, Halimah A. F. DeShong, Wendy C. Grenade, and Dwayne Devonish. Volume 1 focuses on The State, Economy and Health, while Volume 2 examines the impact of the pandemic on Society, Gender, Education and Technology. Principal of the Cave Hill campus Professor Clive Landis had high praise for the publications, saying persons involved launch of Interdisciplinary Perspectives on COVID-19 and the Caribbean: Volumes 1 & 2 , edited by Sherma were committed to finding solutions to the persistent challenges brought on by COVID-19. “The contributors and editors have robustly examined the various dimensions of the pandemic – from the immediate healthcare response to long-term economic consequences, from the social and psychological implications to political and business-related challenges, and from communication strategies to policy and governance measures.
