Precious Moments Chief Executive Officer is answering your questions and looking toward the future! Recently, we caught up with Precious Moments CEO, Steve “Kos” Kosmalski, and asked for his insight on some of your most commonly asked questions. Read on for his candid answers!
Where do you see Precious Moments in the future? We see the Precious Moments brand expanding beyond just keepsakes, collectibles, décor, and other products. The notion of Loving, Caring, and Sharing associated with Precious Moments can apply to film, games, and services of all types! We are exploring all kinds of new ideas – just picture something like a Precious Moments movie! We are very excited about the possibilities. I love Precious Moments but am on a tight budget, are there affordable gift options? First, I would keep an eye on our website where we often offer great promotions where key products can be purchased for less. In addition, in response from requests from Precious Moments fans, we have developed more than 100 items in the last year which include affordable décor, baby gifts, religious items, garden accents, and hostess gifts, all priced below typical porcelain prices. Finally, we have added scores of products from our licensees to our website of varied other Precious Moments products like stuffed animals, clothing, and housewares which also are lower priced. I have a great idea for a figurine, how can I share it with Precious Moments? We love new ideas and have developed some great product as a result! There are a lot of variables that go into making an idea “work,” nonetheless, we need all the ideas we can get as some of them will make it through our pre-testing. I tend to like the pieces which are recently developed, as I witnessed the product development team turn the emotion into the concept, and then into the piece itself. Right now, I’m in love with the Limited Edition figurine which features little children around Jesus with the verse “Be Ye As Little Children.” If you like it as much as I do, you’ll be happy to know it is available now at PreciousMoments.com! Beyond that, I’ve been purchasing many of the smaller zinc alloy crosses with “Hope,” “Believe,” and “Love” printed on them. I’ve really enjoyed giving these as little gifts because people of all ages love them. Anything else you would like to share with Club Members?

It is with great sadness that I share with you that we lost our Director of e-commerce and catalog sales, Jim Kowalczyk, to cancer last December. The Lord called him home early at the age of 56. Jim worked tirelessly until the very end, taking such pride in making Precious Moments merchandise available to so many people around the world. Please keep Jim’s family in your thoughts and perhaps dedicate an extra prayer for them as well.
