ANNUAL CONFERENCE Seek hosts for the annual conference 2-3 years in advance. Liaise with potential hosts, visit locations and check suitability. Once agreed by Executive Committee members, book the venues and related hotels. Maintain a bank account as needed for the AUCSO Conference/Events, to receive payments from delegates & exhibitors and make payments to suppliers. Track all finances and publish to the Executive Committee after the event. Transfer profits from the conference (and other events) to the main AUCSO account. With the Executive Committee, organise the conference programme, arrange and liaise with speakers re hotels, biographies etc. Advertise to members, receive delegate bookings, book hotel rooms, organise the production of name badges, banners, publicity material, programmes etc; arrange transport and social events. Seek suppliers to sponsor and exhibit at the annual conference; maintain a list of suitable suppliers; advertise, take bookings and payments; organise the exhibition space and supporting facilities. Liaise with the conference hosts re accommodation, food, socials, transport, admin support etc.
