spotlight on...

There must be a few imitations of this in the market already. There is no competition that we’re aware of. There are some very high end tools which include a surveying subset, but there’s nothing that’s just a simple, singular tool that you can just put on a tablet like this one. It can also be used for what’s called as-builts. One the installation is done you can go back and do another survey, take photographs of the fibre, store the data. So you can use it as an as-built tool as well. Can this app be used internationally? Markets like Germany have huge numbers of MDUs. Techwave is a global company; I’ve had conversations with both Australia and America so far. It’s still very new as a product. The US is interested because approximately 20% of people live in multi- dweller units. Can this tech be adapted for municipal buildings, hospitals, schools, etc? It can be very easily adapted. Techwave are essentially a software company, the app is an in-house creation. We can easily adapt it because it’s done in tab form. I understand you don’t see this product as a major revenue generator in itself. It’s a proof of concept to show Techwave’s strength as being a global leader in design and planning services for ISPs. This app is way of saying if you buy a BMW, we’ll wash it every Saturday for free for the rest of your life. That’s what this is. We want Techwave to become a partner in your ISP to help you with your workflow. This is to show you their strength without you having to invest major money. Smart thinking. If you can get yourself on the procurement list, especially at a time when suppliers are being reduced, that’s the sweet spot.
