Why will the staff be wearing blue T-shirts on Friday, January 23? Because we are celebrating the success and longevity of Verdes Habitat for Humanity. Homeownership is a key factor in achieving upward mobility and providing safety for families in need. Our community has made this dream a reality for 29 families and counting. Since 1996, we have built and funded one house every year, contributing approximately 150,000 hours of labor and over $2 million in donations.
