PCMC Stan Blakney has accepted the position of President of Global Operations for Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC). In addition to leading the compa- ny’s U.S. business, as he has since February 2019, Blak- ney now will assume leadership of operations in Italy and Serbia as well. Since Blakney joined PCMC, he has led the compa- ny’s expansion in flexographic-printing, bag-convert- ing and hygiene solutions, while also continuing to drive growth in tissue converting and packaging. The creation of this new role enables PCMC to fur- ther unify its operations worldwide and expand into new geographies across all of its markets. It also en- hances aftermarket support globally for its customers. Durst Thomas Macina has been named successor of the current label and flexible packaging segment manager Helmuth Munter, who will retire at the end of 2021. The native of South Tyrol, Macina served as HP Indi- go labels business manager for the EMEA region, a role he filled for nearly five years. Since February, he has been in his introductory phase at the Durst Group and will assume his role for the EMEA region in April.This will be followed in June by responsibility for global sales of label and flexible packaging products.
