engagement, and spiritual enrichment—allowing residents to flourish while enjoying maintenance-free living. “The response to our new patio homes has been tremendous—they sold out quickly, which shows the strong demand for lifestyle-focused living at our Passavant Community,” said Roy. “Residents are excited to enjoy maintenance-free living while taking part in ASPIRE Wellness programs and a community designed for purpose and connection.” The VNA, a Lutheran SeniorLife affiliate, is also advancing its mission. With support from a grant awarded in recognition of its 60th anniversary, the VNA is upgrading technology to help staff deliver more efficient, patient-centered care. These innovations ensure that caregivers are empowered to provide the right support at the right time. “This gift will directly benefit the patients we serve by enabling us to expand programs and integrate new technology that enhances care at the bedside,” said Margie Walsh, Executive Director of VNA, Western Pennsylvania. “It means our nurses and caregivers will be better equipped to respond to the needs of our community, ensuring that patients receive compassionate, timely, and high-quality support

when they need it most.” Beyond local investments, Lutheran SeniorLife

continues to advocate for seniors at the federal level. Leaders recently met with Congressman Mike Kelly and his district director, Melanie Brewer, to discuss challenges facing Medicaid-eligible participants. Conversations centered on streamlining enrollment processes and ensuring seniors are aware of all their care options—again reflecting our belief that care systems must adapt to the people they serve, not the other way around. “Lutheran SeniorLife is committed to building communities and services that allow people to live with dignity and purpose,” said David J. Fenoglietto, President and Chief Executive Officer. “From new lifestyle options to innovative care technology, and by advocating at the highest levels of government, we are taking meaningful steps to improve quality of life for those we serve. In doing so, we are advancing the spirit of Abundant Life—ensuring that aging is seen not as a decline, but as a powerful continuation of life.” X
