Making A Difference – Together
T he power of “We” was on full display on October 2 as supporters, partners, and staff gathered at the Pittsburgh Field Club for the Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation Annual Event. “At Lutheran SeniorLife, it has never been about ‘I,’ it is always about ‘We’—how we come together for each person today and into the future,” said President and CEO David Fenoglietto in his welcoming remarks. That spirit of unity defined the night. Because of the generosity of those in attendance—friends, sponsors, partners, and employees—more older adults will receive compassionate care, more vulnerable neighbors will find support, and more families will rest easier knowing their loved ones are thriving. For Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation President Jane Bittcher, this Annual Event held a special place in her heart, not only because of the joy and connection it brings to so many donors, but because of what those donors mean to the mission of Lutheran SeniorLife. “I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude and support,” said Jane Bittcher, President of the Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation, about these supporters. “There are so many people who attend this event that have come for years, and I realize how much they love and appreciate the organization.” RIGHT: Campbell Foundation, Diamond Sponsor BELOW: Lutheran SeniorLife Rehab Service’s Team and supporters of the Foundation
This year’s event was especially meaningful for Bittcher, as it marked her final one before retiring at the end of the year after a decade of devoted leadership as President of the Foundation. Through her tireless dedication, she has not only strengthened Lutheran SeniorLife’s mission and touched countless lives but also shaped the Foundation’s future through her strategic vision and steadfast commitment. Passionate, empathetic, and persistent, Bittcher led with clarity and heart, inspiring others to give generously. Her legacy is one of vision and impact, rooted in gratitude and generosity. To every attendee, donor, and supporter: thank you for being part of our “We.” X
