with OLLI

Come Travel with OLLI @ Furman! We’ve got adventures for every traveler— whether you’re looking for a fun local outing, an extended regional exploration, or a once-in-a-lifetime international experience.

Exploring Fruitland and the World's Edge — April 10, Limit: 9 Let's explore less-explored Henderson County, NC. We'll learn about Henderson County's original "Johnny Appleseed;" and we'll uncover one of the region's most storied views (with a world-class name). Our journey will uncover loads of early mountain history; and sites you'll want to revisit with friends. Is east Henderson County the most bucolic region in the mountains and Upstate? We'll learn about production of apples, corn, and grapes—where it's been, and where it's heading. JOIN US THIS SPRING AS WE EMBARK ON THIS UNIQUE DAY TRIP.
