PHO910 Nature Photography In Your Yard Monday, 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Herring Center, Graham (HC005) Love nature photography but looking for an alternative to time consuming and expensive nature adventures? This course will cover some ways to enjoy nature photography in your own yard. We’ll discuss ways to attract birds and other wildlife to your yard; techniques for photographing animals, plant life, insects and more; and how to look for interesting subjects in unusual places. During most classes there will be a sharing time where we view photos taken by members of the class - so yes, there will be some homework! Digital camera, mirrorless camera, and cell phone users are welcome, although we should note that cell phones are not the best choice for bird photography. Students should already know how to use their camera and be able to email their photos to the instructor. Ideally students will be able to use editing software to enhance their photos, but this is not required.
