THE POLAR REGIONS MOST LUXURIOUS SHIP, SILVERSEA’S SILVER ENDEAVOUR, IS ABOUT TO BECOME EVEN MORE LUXURIOUS
BY MONTE MATHEWS
Roberto Bruzzone, Silversea’s Senior Vice President of Marine Operations explains “With our guests’ ex- perience in mind, we will also create space for the ad- ditional crew members our new accommodations will require maintaining our guest to passenger ratio of 1:1.” All of these changes will be made in time to welcome guests on Silver Endeavour’s itineraries starting in June 2023. The ship will first offer two voyages in the British Isles and Iceland before setting sail for her first Arctic season. Nine voyages are planned to include many of the Polar Region’s most remote destinations—Pond Inlet in Nunavut in Northern Canada, Cape York and Qaanaaq in Greenland. Her 2023 Antarctica season begins at the end of October. Let’s look at Silver Endeavour’s glorious new suites. Two new suite categories will allow Silver Endeav- our’s guests even more options in selecting their ac- commodations. In addition, another four Classic Veranda Suites will be added. The two Master suites will take your breath away. Located toward the ship’s aft, these amazing suites bring their occupants even stronger connections with Silver Endeavour’s desti- nations. They each provide uninterrupted 270-degree views from their enormous 312-square foot verandas. Inside, their large living areas have been designed with panoramic vaulted glazing. Featuring both living and dining areas, guests will relish all that’s contained in their 1,160 square feet. The bedrooms offer the choice of king size or twin beds. In just one season, Silver Endeavour raised the bar in polar cruising. Her 200 guests experienced Silver Endeavour’s remarkable number of firsts. Silver Endeavour has the highest crew to guest ratio (of 1:1), Zodiac-to-guest, expert-to-guest ratios in the industry. Her cutting-edge navigation and exploration technology is unrivalled. But it is Silversea’s unmatched commitment to comfort that makes Silver Endeavour the most luxurious expe- dition ship ever built. Remarkably, Silver Endeavour is about to become even more spectacular than before. Just this week, Silver Endeavour will enter Genova’s San Giorgio del Porto shipyard for a series of enhance- ments in both onboard and expedition experiences for guests on the 20,449 ton vessel. Given that Silver Endeavour was only launched in 2021, these changes reflect the success of the ship among her passengers. In response to demand for the ship’s most spacious accommodations, Silver Endeavour will have six new Upper level suites on deck 8, four new suites on deck 5 and will introduce two new suite categories—all designed to immerse her passengers even deeper into their destinations. Silver Endeavour’s enrichment does not stop at her new accommodations.
