Moffat: An award- winning strategic innovator, engaging speaker, and organizational leader whose passion for communications and storytelling is tangible from the moment you meet her. Applying her real-life experiences, she conveys how organizations can
create opportunities for success and growth through impactful and detailed communication campaigns. Moffat worked her way up within the federal government to earn her current role as the NIH Center for Information Technology (CIT) Director of Communication & Digital Experience. At CIT, Moffat leads vision, strategy, and execution for all facets of communications, outreach, and digital customer experience. She also provides guidance and direction to senior-level executive leaders to promote and ensure effective messaging to NIH staff and stakeholders. She developed CIT’s first change management strategic plan and established and implemented a digital experience strategic plan that led to a 200% increase in digital engagement. She also oversees and directs all of CIT’s public affairs, speaking engagements, and press. Moffat is a leadership coach, host of the Empowered podcast and has been a featured keynote speaker and panelist across the US and beyond. She also serves as the Vice President for Communications on AFFIRM’s Board of Directors. Moffat is Prosci® certified and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Regent University and an M.S. in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
