HIGH FIVES

GUIDE From: Ty Eldred, Boise Supply Company To: McCall Ops A big shoutout to the gentlemen at the McCall store for bailing us out in a pinch. After our trucks had their accident in New Meadows, they were able to get our siding material delivered to the job sites so we could get our crews started on those jobs and finished before the weather shut things down up there. There is a reason they have been kicking butt all year up there; they are great guys to work with. Special thanks to Matt Farnsworth and the delivery guys who had the common sense and experience to say they needed the driveway plowed into the job site so we didn’t have another fiasco.

SAFE From: Trent McKnight

To: Greg Nicolaisen and Alex Wellard I would like to give a high-five to Greg Nicolaisen and Alex Wellard. These drivers were out doing deliveries when they noticed the Christmas lights to the entrance of Trueman Cove were a little to low. Instead of just pushing through, they pulled to the side and assessed the situation. They came to conclusion they were too tall and called dispatch to figure out a solution. That’s what ownership is about. Great job guys.

EASY From: Zac Luker, SCI To: Jared Evans, Jerome

This is for Jared Evans, who was asked to help me find some parts for Burley’s shelving. He did it quickly without complaint and then called me back within 10 minutes. He’s a great team player and an asset to the company. WOW From: Gryffen Hanson, Boise Dispatch To: Josh Swartz, Harley Beavers, and Sean Armstrong This morning, Harley Beavers and Josh Swartz brought a cash sale order to my attention ... The quantity of material seemed so odd that I immediately gave the customer a call to verify quantities listed ... I got Sean Armstrong at the front counter involved so we could figure out how much material the customer actually needed for the project. After calculations were done, the quantity dropped from 388 pieces of 12TW to 81 pieces, saving the customer $9,111.76. I really feel everyone involved in getting to the bottom of this issue knew their jobs well. As a result, they really WOWed a cash customer.

STRIVE From: Paul Ludwig, Pocatello

To: Drew Ruffridge, Pocatello Door & Finish I have had the best intentions to send out high- fives in the past; I just always get sidetracked. The last couple of years, Drew has done an amazing job managing the Pocatello door shop. In my opinion, our shop has never operated more efficiently than it currently does. That is a hard thing for me to admit because I managed the same door shop (haha). Just wanted to give a shoutout to Drew. He truly cares about taking care of the customers.

MEET JEFF CHRISTOFFERSEN

about the challenge of managing a complex location like Pocatello, which is our third-largest location with a large geographical area to service. However, we believe this is not the only reason he is pleased with the change. Jeff has commuted an hour-plus twice daily for two years as he traveled from Pocatello to Burley. Now, his commute is a whopping 10 minutes, giving Jeff much more time with his wife of

Our New Pocatello GM

We are proud to introduce Jeff Christoffersen as our new general manager of our Pocatello, ID, location. Over his many years with us, Jeff has been quite the utility player. Jeff started with Franklin in 1994 as a delivery driver and load builder at our Caldwell location. In his career spanning 28 years, Jeff has moved from that driver position to inside sales, night-crew supervisor, dispatcher, estimator, sales manager, and installed sales manager. Jeff was also tasked with buying trucks and forklifts for the company for years. In 2019, Jeff was promoted to General Manager, first for our Fruitland location, then Jeff moved to manage our Burley location in 2021. Jeff excelled in both locations as a leader and a coach. If you know Jeff already, you know he is a hard charger, and he never lets much grass grow. Yet, like any good coach, he cares for his team and strives to help them excel and improve. For this reason, we are excited for Jeff to manage our equally hard- charging team in Pocatello. It’s a great match. Likewise, Jeff is excited

two years, Melissa, their combined 11 children, ages 7 to 28, and their three grandchildren, who are 5 years old, 2 years old, and 6 months old. We are excited to see the continued growth of Pocatello as Jeff Christoffersen builds on the hard work of his predecessor. Jeff is replacing Danny Green. While Danny is retiring from the GM position, he will still be a member of our Franklin family for a few more years. He’s choosing to work part time as Pocatello’s newest Account Coordinator until his wife retires. We appreciate Danny’s years of service and are glad we don’t have to say goodbye just yet.
