“Our first lot has already been purchased and we’re in the market for new manufacturing tenants,” Pfaff said. “This park is uniquely positioned within a 100-mile radius from the major markets of Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia.” The park, located next to the Delaware Coastal Airport, a general aviation facility with a 5,500-foot-long main runway, is within an eight-hour drive of a quarter of the U.S. population. “We are excited to have At- lantis Industries as our first tenant, with their operations already underway in the first quarter of 2018,” Pfaff said. “Atlantis is a well-established company that offers a wide range of capabilities for in- jection-molded plastics. Their customers include military,

automotive, medical and plumbing applications, so the park and its proximity to major regional markets have ideally positioned Atlantis to serve and grow its customer base.” Pfaff noted that the 77-acre park and surrounding commu- nity provide a wealth of oppor- tunities, not just in Delaware, but for the entire Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. He pointed to the German flooring manu- facturer, Uzin-Utz, Inc., which chose Delaware as one of its most recent North American manufacturing locations. The area’s amenities, including pristine beaches and inviting state parks, along with its trained work force, award- winning schools, high quality of life, low tax rates, excellent

location and business tax ad- vantages, are evidence that Sussex County is ripe for com- mercial operations. Businesses that locate in the new business park can capitalize on any mode of transportation that suits their needs, including highway, air, rail and waterway access. The park is located along a local truck route with convenient access to major regional and interstate highways, including I-95; is adjacent to a general aviation airport that currently serves aircraft ranging in size from single-engine planes to commercial jets; features access to local rail lines that Delaware Coastal Airport located next to Business Park
