Kobeyaki opens 1,706 s/f location in Jersey City Colliers represents tenant in 60,600 s/f Parsippany HQs lease

arsippany, NJ — John Guest USA, Inc. has leased 60,600 s/f at 20 East Halsey Rd. in Parsip- pany. The plumbing and indus- trial products manufacturer will relocate its North Ameri- can headquarters operation to the Morris County industrial/ flex property from Fairfield in an expansion play, according to Colliers International. Colliers’ John Donnelly , based in the global commer- cial real estate services firm’s Parsippany office, represented John Guest USA in orches- trating the long-term lease. P

In a separate transaction, Fast Casual Japanese chain Kobeyaki has opened a 1,706 s/f restaurant at 525 Washington St. in Jersey City, marking its first location outside of NYC. Colliers International NJ LLC Inc. served as tenant represen- tative for Kobeyaki, which is known for its fresh approach to Japanese food in a fast-casual environment. The landlord, MEPT Newport Tower, LLC, was represented by Lon Ru- backin of CBRE . Colliers’ Nancy Erickson , executive managing director; Kelly Bayer , associate direc- tor; and Jennifer Flores , as- sociate, who are based in the firm’s Parsippany office, also are exploring additional NJ opportunities for Kobeyaki. n T h e Go l d s t e i n Group inks store leases in Jersey City, Hoboken & Montclair PARAMUS, NJ — The Goldstein Group has placed three tenants throughout Jer- sey City, Hoboken, Montclair and other New Jersey areas according to Chuck Lanyard , president of The Goldstein Group. In Paterson, M&T Bank signed a lease for an 1,800 s/f unit at 162 Main St. Principal, Neil Goldstein , and sales associate, Roy Paret , were responsible for the transac- tion with the owner, 162 Main Street LLC, and the tenant. In Hoboken, Restore Cold Pressed leased a space at 305 1st St. The newly renovated mixed-use building has several luxury apartments with heavy foot traffic. Lew Finkelstein , executive VP, CJ Huter , vice president, and Christopher Conway , director represented the owner, Saminski Proper- ties, and tenant. In Jersey City, Flatbread Grill filled a 1,554 s/f space at 26 Journal Square. This is a prime retail space within a 1 block distance to the Journal Square PATH station. C hris- topher Conway , director, represented the landlord, LLC/ Kushner Cos., and the tenant in the transaction. In Ridgewood, Playa Bowls leased a 1,504 s/f space at 305 East Ridgewood Ave. Marc Palestina , sales associate at The Goldstein Group was re- sponsible for the transaction. n
