P ennsylvania Workshops will focus on critical issues in real estate finance Pitt Business teams with JLL for Real Estate Finance Academy
ittsburgh, PA — The Pitt Business Real Estate Finance Academy , now in its second year, has partnered with global real estate firm JLL to offer students a series of indus- try workshops taught by the company’s leaders. The Pitt Business Real Estate Finance Academy is part of the school’s innovative, award-winning Professional Academies Pro- gram. The academies are de- signed to provide co-curricular professional development and networking opportunities in fields that are complementary to students’ Bachelor in Sci- ence in Business Administra- tion degree. Pitt Business also offers a Professional Sales Academy taught by corporate partners and plans to launch new academies in the 2018-19 academic year. P RADNOR, PA — Beacon Commercial Real Estate LLC announced successfully completing three transactions in 2018 at Norriton Medical Campus. These transactions bring the campus to 100% oc- cupancy, which include: IOA RE, LLC, a Professional Reinsurance Underwriting Manager, signed an Amend- ment dated January 8, 2018 expanding into 2,486 RSF for a total of 13,735 RSF in Building 190. Tenant was represented by David Butera of Gola Corporate Real Estate . Pediatric Medical Associates extended the term on their existing lease in Building 160 of 3,390 s/f. They have been tenants in the park since 2008. The tenant was represented by Neil Shupak and Justin Bell of Newmark . Allan Meyers, Inc. will be

Also present at the meeting was Lucas Piatt , president and chief operating officer of Millcraft . His organization is involved in real estate de- velopment, hospitality man- agement, and leasing services throughout Western Pennsyl- vania. Specializing in bold,
creative projects, Millcraft was the first company to develop a mixed-use high-rise building in downtown Pittsburgh in 30 years when it spearheaded the project to build the JLL Center near Market Square. “Real estate is becoming a big global player as major in- vestors diversify their portfo- lio,” JC Pelusi, JLL managing director told the students. Piatt told the students that Millcraft is focused on commu- nity-enhancing projects that are economically and environ- mentally sustainable. “We saw a movement, not just regionally but nationally, to return to the urban core,” Piatt said. There were more than a dozen Pitt Business students who attended the kick-off ses- sion. Students represented the full spectrum of business LANCASTER, PA — RGS Associates, Inc. announced the newest member of their team, Meghadeep Saripalli , Designer. Saripalli is a gradu- ate from University of Toledo where he earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an Environmental con- centration. As an engineer in training, he is responsible for the creation of subdivision and land development designs and plans for assigned RGS client projects. Meghadeep currently lives in East York where he enjoys spending his free time taking pictures, sketching, and Bristol TWP., PA — Her- ring Properties announced that walls are already up on a high tech new 80,000 s/f ware- house at 2151 Green Lane, part of the 81-acre Bristol Commerce Center (BCC).
