Distance from hotel
For oodles of Chinese culture, hop over to the sprawling and ever-bustling Chinatown, known locally as Yaowarat. A trip here can be the most memorable of any spent in Bangkok, and the unending market, selling jewelry, crafts and knick knacks, is quite unique. Expect to be jostled from side to side, as Chinese traders push their way through the narrow market alleys, but worry not, there are plenty of coffee shops to rest and enjoy the delicious noodles and other local fare.
