Essential • Proven experience of supervising teams in the construction or facilities industry • Writing procedures/method statements • Writing risk assessments • Health and Safety compliance

Desirable • Customer care background.

Qualifications

Essential • Level 2 in English and Maths. • Health & Safety IOSH (or prepared to work towards) • Risk Assessment in the work place. Desirable • Site management safety training scheme (SMSTS) • Machinery operator license • Legionnaires awareness • Asbestos awareness. • Working at height

Special Skills/Aptitudes

Essential • Able to work on own initiative. • Able to effectively communicate with staff and students. • Proven ability to plan and manage maintenance projects in a timely manner and against budget. • Report writing

Desirable • Multi skilled on building maintenance. • Use of Microsoft Excel for Building Conditions planning • Use of Microsoft suite
