Heating and plumbing supplier Ecopipe Ireland is proud to sponsor their local club Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC in Dublin by providing dressing rooms and showers, which were built out of old shipping containers. The new structure was installed last September in the club’s new grounds, Heavey Technology Park. The grand opening of the grounds was a significant milestone for the club and represented the addition of a fantastic community sports facility to Rathfarnham and surrounding areas. The event was a great success with loads of family, friends and locals showing their support – and plenty of sunshine. “We are very pleased to sponsor our local club Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC by kitting them out with dressing rooms and showers which we have been working on over the last few weeks,” commented Ecopipe Ireland Managing Director ECOPIPE IRELAND SPONSORS STILLORGAN-RATHFARNHAM RFC

WRAS LAUNCHES NEW SERVICES FOR MANUFACTURERS

The Water Regulations Approval Scheme (WRAS), an independent UK certification body for plumbing products and materials, has launched two new services to help speed up the product approval process for manufacturers. The Fast Track Assessment offers fast-track approval evaluations, with feedback being shared directly with the applicant at the same time as the laboratory – speeding up and improving communication channels.

WRAS also offers the Pre-Application Advice Service, which provides manufacturers pre-application advice to check if a product or material is appropriate to be certified by WRAS, as well as the specific requirements that need to be met during testing, before a full application is submitted. “We’ve introduced the two new services for several reasons,” Ian Hughes, WRAS’s Approvals Manager, commented, “We want manufacturers to be better

informed about regulations and WRAS requirements to avoid queries and delays, and make the approval process faster and more cost-effective.” Visit www.wrasapprovals.co.uk
