MACBLAIR PLUMBING FLEXES MAJOR BUYING MUSCLE TO OFFER FULL RANGE OF CORE PLUMBING ITEMS AT GREAT VALUE…

Core plumbing items now in stock at MacBlair

M acBlair is standing by its mission to become a major player in the plumbing merchant sector by implementing a network-wide stock commitment for all core plumbing items. The company is investing heavily into its plumbing and heating division to grow it into a first-choice option for plumbers and heating engineers. Michael Turkington, Business Development Manager explained, “MacBlair wants to provide an inclusive plumbing and builders merchant environment. For example, a plumber who specialises in bathroom installations can purchase all their plumbing fittings for the first fix of bathrooms and ensuites along with all the building materials they might need to complete the job. On the flip side, builders can add all their plumbing and building items to one account without having to leave the store.” MacBlair’s previous plumbing stock has been expanded and enhanced across seven branches. “All the core plumbing items that a plumber needs

have now been brought into stock,” explained Michael. “We have brought in Warmflow boilers, Worcester gas boilers, Ideal gas boilers and Myson radiators – all the popular items which plumbers expect to be stocked by their plumbing merchant. Seven of our branches are now fully stocked, and through collaboration with our branch colleagues we will ensure this range is maintained. “In addition to that, we are already stocking Navien’s new NCB700 combi gas boiler, the first product of its type capable of delivering hot water to three bathrooms simultaneously without any drop in temperature or pressure.” “We are dedicated to further enhancing our already excellent customer experience. This will include range, layout, opening hours and delivery service. Once we have perfected this model, we will review each branch to ensure the full network within the plumbing and heating sector is operating to the same standard. “My immediate focus is on Boucher Road, and ensuring the plan is implemented,

and most importantly further enhancing our already excellent customer experience,” said Michael. “We are committed to investing in our plumbing and heating division to the point that plumbers have confidence in MacBlair as a plumbing merchant. As part of the Grafton Group, MacBlair’s buying power is equally as good as any of the other merchants’, so we have the facility and the resources to do this. “Our message to the plumbers is this: if you haven’t been to one of our dedicated plumbing and heating branches why not give us a try and see first-hand our full range. We are always here to help.”
