FONDITAL ALUMINIUM RADIATORS ARE PROTECTED BY A SPECIALLY DEVELOPED DOUBLE COATING OF PAINT TO INCREASE DURABILITY AND ACHIEVE A GREAT FINISH…

How to keep your system efficient? In addition to choosing quality products, durability is linked to efficiency. See some tips to maximise the radiators’ energy usage, durability, and overall performance. 1. Maintenance: carry out regular checks to maintain the integrity of the system, avoiding breakages. 2. Beware of noises: sometimes air bubbles form inside the radiators and obstruct the passage of water, generating noise. You can solve this by bleeding the radiator. 3. Cleaning: to maintain optimal heat output and air quality, it is important to clean the radiators externally. To remove dust, use the vacuum cleaner nozzle or a damp cloth. Avoid using chemicals or detergents. 4. Personalization: install thermostatic valves to adjust the temperature and allow for optimal comfort without waste. 5. Correct use: it is important not to cover the radiators, leaving them free from clothing or curtains to facilitate air circulation.

Say no to corrosion W ith over 50 years of experience in the production of aluminium radiators, Fondital aims to offer

For an optimal result, it all starts with the preparation of the product, which includes a cycle of washing and dedicated pre- treatments to guarantee high resistance to corrosion and excellent adhesion of the paint itself. Then, it is time for the double coating of paint developed by Fondital: a base layer using the anaphoresis technique to protect the metal and paint, and the application of epoxy powders to increase durability and achieve the desired finish. A series of tests concluded that Fondital radiators, which carry the double painting as standard, remain unaltered for up to 216 hours (9 cycles), while radiators covered by a single layer of powder paint show signs of failure after just 96 hours. These results indicate that Fondital radiators, being extremely resistant to corrosion, are also perfectly compatible with humid environments with a high level of salt in the air, such as coastal areas. solutions for home comfort by providing valuable products with an extra focus on quality. Quality is key to creating high-performance and durable products. Durability is becoming an increasingly relevant topic when making new purchases, also thanks to European regulatory indications. By choosing quality and durable products, consumers can maintain them for longer, reducing the waste of goods and, consequently, the resources used to produce them. DURABILITY OVER TIME Speaking of radiators, the biggest threat to the product’s life is corrosion, a chemical- physical phenomenon that causes the degradation of materials due to the environment in which they are placed. Events like this must be prevented at all costs and every stage of the production process must be oriented to this purpose.
