L eading ventilation company Lindab worked closely with Murphy & Kelly Ltd to provide cowls, duct work, fans, fire dampers, fire smoke dampers, and volume control dampers for St Mary’s Healthcare Campus Community Nursing Unit in Cork. The new 60-bed community nursing unit (CNU) provides long and short stay accommodation for local elderly residents. Lindab (Irl) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lindab Group based in Sweden. It is the largest supplier of ventilation equipment in Ireland and one of the largest in Europe with a group turnover of €1 billion with 5,000 employees. Formed in Sweden in 1959, Lindab recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. It has been represented directly in Ireland since 2007, following an acquisition of an established Irish business.
