Baxi recently held a series of trade mornings across branches of Bassetts, Beggs & Partners and Wolseley. Both merchants and installers could chat with Sharon English, Areas Sales Manager and Gas Service Engineer, Craig Paterson about the full range of LPG and natural gas Baxi boilers. Baxi’s sales team is delighted to be out and about again, actively attending merchants and hosting trade awareness mornings. These informal events offer a great opportunity to develop your knowledge of some of the best known Baxi models and also keep up to date with its latest releases along with updates on heating industry legislation. www.baxi.co.uk BAXI TALKS LPG AND NATURAL GAS BOILERS

Irish Water is calling on companies of all sizes across Ireland to apply for its Water Stewardship Programme. This comprehensive training programme helps organisations lower their water use, thereby reducing operating costs and protecting the environment. This comes as over 40 graduates become water stewards for their organisations at a recent ceremony at Trinity College Dublin, held by Irish Water. Over 600 people have undertaken the programme to date from a variety of sectors. The programme – the first of its kind globally – is an international best practice accreditation from the European Water Stewardship Programme. The programme is endorsed by Ibec, Enterprise Ireland and Chambers Ireland, and supported by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. The programme is fully funded by Irish Water and the Lean & Green Skillnet. Participants undertake two months of comprehensive virtual training to better understand how to conserve water in their organisation. PLUMBMASTER VISITS EPH CONTROLS AND SOUTH COAST SALES

Plumbmaster staff took a trip down to Cork on October 20, to visit the factories of EPH Controls and South Coast Sales. Both companies supply Plumbmaster with merchandise that can often be seen getting passed over the trade counter, so it was a valuable use of time for the representatives from branches all over Northern Ireland to head down and get involved. The trip to South Coast Sales was focused around a tour of the factory where the visitors were able to get hands on with the products throughout the stages of assembly. Following that was the outing to EPH Controls where the members of the Plumbmaster team were given an in-depth and highly insightful presentation surrounding the technicalities of the various EPH Control systems. Plumbmaster hope that the continuation of visits like this will further improve their staff’s resourcefulness, product knowledge and overall customer support when it comes to serving in the branches. www.plumb-master.com
