A presentation designed to provide petroleum landmen, division order analysts and lease/title analysts with the tools necessary to evaluate the quality of any attorney- rendered oil and gas title opinion, to spot and address deficiencies, and to communicate with the examining attorney to customize title opinions to specific companies and development areas/basins in the Rockies. The course involves an in-depth, detailed review of a mock oil and gas title opinion and all of its facets, from tract identification and division of interest calculations to treatment of regulatory issues and various encumbrances.
