Emerging Leaders Program Continues To Grow Emerging Leader Rising Senior Delegate Evan Clary delivered an enthusiastic update on AICC’s growing Emerging Leaders Program. There are now 166 active members, comprised of 53 percent boxmakers and 47 percent suppliers, representing the next generation of leadership in the independent packaging sector.

This year, five participants graduated from the pro- gram, and 34 new members joined. Clary recognized the leadership transition within the group, thanking outgoing Senior Delegate Jordan Dawson and introducing new delegates Cody Brett and Nick Catana. Clary noted that the program continues to provide real value for participants and their companies, and encour- aged young talent to get involved. Students Recognized For Creative Achievements Brewer also announced the winners for the annual AICC Student Packaging Design Competition. Cal Poly students were tasked with designing a standalone island point-of-purchase floor display, a real-world opportunity through a partnership between AICC and Gibs Groom-
ing. The first place winners for the Structure Category were Scarlett Frazier, Ella Carnahan, Zoe Tseng, and Syd- ney Doyle, for "The GIBS Workbench" (pictured above left). Winners in the Graphics category included Sophia Durbin, Grace Kuang, and Luke Kim, for the "GIBS Indus- trial Shelf." Cal Poly students accept the first-place award in the AICC Student Packaging Design Competition.
