Big Daddy Earl is no stranger to making music. e rapper and CEO of MonstaClick entertainment has been an artist for over 20 years. It started with a passion in middle school, inspired by Method Man and his lyrical style. He played around with writing and performing throughout college. It wasn’t until technology advances
made it easier to innovate outside of a large studio that he was able to get serious. “A lot of this stu has changed the game. Before you had to have somebody that actually knew how to run all that equipment. It was hard for me to nd engineers and producers that were really doing the industry. I couldn’t really get into the music as hard as I wanted to. So that kind of led to me just making songsand keeping myself sharp with my lyrics and keeping myself up to date with the times of the way the music was changing.” After spending some time in a group called LGM, Big Daddy Earl formed his label, MonstaClick Entertainment in 2006 and began collecting artists of his own to mentor and promote. “I have 3 to 4 active artists right now that are making daily music and we’re putting out material for them. Right now a lot of stu is moving forward with merchandise on the website... I always looked up to the industry moguls, like Master P, like Dr. Dre, Puy... All these people, they all were artists themselves, but they also had their label of artists that they were pushing. And I always felt like I always want to have a strong team of artists just because I feel likee more the better.”
