Previous Experience

Essential • Evidence of successful management experience • Excellent project management skills; • Budgetary planning and control; • Good verbal and written communication skills; • Staff line management • Proven experience and sound technical knowledge of a varied property portfolio Desirable • Knowledge of post 14 educational issues; • Experience in a college environment • Experience of Planning and the Planning Permission process • Proven experience with Health & Safety management • An excellent understanding of the built environment from an electrical, mechanical or relevant engineering discipline • Excellent experience in the use of project software e.g. MS Project or similar

Qualifications

Essential • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience and a member of a relevant professional body such as RICS, RIBA or BIFM or other as appropriate • Educated to NEBOSH National Certificate Level in health and safety and an active IOSH member and H&S Practitioner • Evidence of continued professional development Desirable • Formal Project Management Qualification in an appropriate methodology e.g. PRINCE 2 • Educated to NEBOSH National Diploma Level in health and safety
