Established a long to short-term strategic plan for a Vietnam Business Unit by analysing the overall external contexts and internal capability, using strategic thinking combined with a hands-on perspective that resulted in spearheading the Energy as a Service business in Vietnam. Led an Energy Solutions team including business development, engineering, and operation functions. Led an Operations team through climate and cost inflation challenges to operate renewable energy assets. Advised all-round operational excellence and a synergistic framework, including coaching the team to unleash their potential. Resulted in a record- breaking EBITDA in 2023 at US$11 million (rose 20% year on year), whilst strengthening collaboration with stakeholders. Innovated an energy saving project at a mine site which achieved the first development of a solar farm with battery in Indonesia. Managed the overall project and project team from development phase to commissioning phase. This in turn reduced the energy cost by 40% and reduced carbon emissions from the diesel generator of upstream mining processes by 60%.
