Our members showcase their dedication to quality by being ISO:9001 accredited or by achieving the LIAQA assurance standard, delivering products the industry can trust. The LIA’s Laboratory testing facilities offer compliance, ingress protection, impact, photometry and environmental support – its an accredited one stop shop, helping you to market or procure compliant and reliable products. The Code for Construction Product Information states all product information should be clear, accurate, up-to-date, accessible and unambiguous. The EU is legislating against green claims, meaning any such claim will require third party verification. By joining the LIA, you will gain access to our joint venture with CIBSE, providing expert verification of TM66 Circular Economy Assessments. Its all about trust. Trust us.
Support Lighting products are highly regulated and any placed on the UK market must not just be compliant, but provably so. Compliance needs processes, skilled staff and a huge knowledge of the myriad of ever-changing rules and regulations – these increase costs.
