“The only thing worse than training your employees and having them leave, is not training your staff and having them stay” Henry Ford
We all have challenges facing our businesses - from staff shortages to disrupted supply chains. Often the only way through them is by utilising the skills and innovation of our teams. Training is not an option, it is fundamental to business success.
Policy and Influence – we’re better together There are over 80 different organisations within the lighting, electro-technical and building services space – ranging from three different UK government departments to non-governmental sustainability groups, from learned societies to Lighting Europe (our industry’s voice to the EU) and from other industry associations with aligned interests to lighting designers. We coordinate and communicate with them, constantly promoting our industry, the value of light as well as lighting’s role in sustainability and net zero. We do this on our members’ behalf, bringing together the power of 230 member companies, from all sectors of lighting, with knowledge, technical expertise and clearly focussed strategy to create positive change in a way that few individual companies ever achieve on their own.
