tones create a relaxed mood. Textured wallpaper offsets a metal-framed bed and unexpected elements like ceramic table lamps and a green framed mirror complete the look and keep the overall tone light and surprising. Pandora, who has more than 6,000 followers on Instagram, is now working on a house in Ireland which is going to be a second/holiday home. She describes it as being “a characterful, cosy retreat”. She has also recently completed the interior for a home in Battersea Power Station, which in contrast was new, vibrant and brought some interesting Britishness into the iconic location. “I love the whole scope of interiors that I work on. I thought The Auria for Peabody was a real highlight and being in Notting Hill I wanted to create a sanctuary from city life and bring a village-like feel from the neighbourhood into the apartment.” Located in the heart of the extensive Portobello Square regeneration, homes there form part of the 1,000 new homes being developed, alongside new public realm and a range of commercial opportunities. On offer is a collection of one and two bedroom apartments, two bedroom duplexes and three bedroom mews houses for private sale, and one bedroom shared ownership homes starting from £168,750 for a 25% share of a one bedroom apartment with a full market value of £675,000. Residents will eventually be able to enjoy a co-working space, a courtyard garden, residents’ gym and concierge service. Pandora has some excellent advice for first time buyers when planning the interiors of their first dream home. She said, “Allocate what money you have carefully and my advice would be to spend more on bigger pieces like a sofa so they stand the test of time. Consider where you might be living in say five years’ time and don’t just buy for now, but for the future. The key pieces should have longevity and with the cost of living as it is, you really can’t afford to re-buy. Have some fun with accessories and look around the high street for some budget-friendly pieces.” For more information on The Auria, please visit theauria.london/ For further information about Pandora Taylor go to pandorataylor.co.uk
