Two Akwesasne residents are dead and another is in critical condition in hospital after a car accident in Akwesasne Thurs- day. A teen and a young adult were killed when their car missed a curve and struck a tree around 2:30 a.m. on North Road in the southern portion of Akwesasne. Amber Lynn Aliff, 19, the driver, was pro- nounced dead at Massena Memorial Hos- pital. A passenger, Dakota Benedict, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene, accord- ing to SRMTC.
