Relational Leadership: Building Emotional Intelligence and Psychological Safety in Organizations
This session introduces a Relational Leadership model that teaches leaders how to develop the self and connect better with others, especially in times of uncertainty, change, and conflict. Participants will learn applied personal tools (self-awareness, emotional intelligence, etc.) and relational and team tools (psychological safety, etc.) that are needed to positively shape teams and organizational culture. We’ll introduce ways to better understand the self, lead with authenticity and the heart, and connect and engage with others. This session uses interactive examples, scenarios, exercises, and discussions to explore important emotional, cognitive, and relational tools that are needed for leaders to excel and shape team and organizational culture

Learning and Action Objectives Learn more about yourself, why you behave and think the way you do, and what you bring as a leader, including self-awareness, emotional intelligence, humility, vulnerability, a learning mindset, and how you handle uncertainty and ambiguity. Create, manage, and negotiate relationships within your teams and across your organization. Learn specific tools and practices to positively shape organizational culture. Assess, strengthen, and manage workforce climate and engagement. Build a better understanding for navigating conflict, creating psychological safety, fostering connection and engagement, and innovating.
