In September 2024, Welch Packaging also joined forc- es with multi-generational, family-owned Capitol City Con- tainer Corp in Indianapolis (Cap City Container). Owners Rich Purcell, Mike Purcell, and Josh Bryant led the business for many years and brought decades of ex- perience to the Welch roster. In addition to an experienced team, Cap City Container brought state-of-the-art equip- ment and a new product niche to Welch Packaging. Founded in 1985, Welch Packaging is a multi-genera- tional, family-owned and led business. Welch creates cus- tom corrugated products and packaging solutions for local customers.
