CHANDLER, MINNESOTA

Volunteers in Mercy supports families in need across Southwest Minnesota and Southeast South Dakota. The grant will fund ESL classes for immigrant families, cooking lessons for food shelf users, and an after-school cooking program for high school students.

The Westbrook Area Pool Committee is working to rejuvenate the 45-year-old community pool, which serves as a vital recreational and social hub for Westbrook and surrounding areas. The grant will fund the replacement of the pool liner, crumbling concrete decking, and upgrades to the bathhouse to meet ADA standards, ensuring safety and accessibility for all.

Worthington Area Youth Baseball Association promotes youth engagement through baseball and softball. The grant will fund a covered, lighted, two-lane batting cage with electricity for year-round use, benefiting over 180 youth and their families.

Worthington Christian School provides pre-K to 8th-grade education in Worthington, Minnesota, fostering academic and spiritual growth for 125 students from surrounding communities. Grant funds will help install two new mechanical basketball hoops in the gym to improve usability for students, community events, and local sports teams.

Worthington United is a nonprofit youth soccer club serving over 150 children ages 5-18 from Worthington and surrounding communities, promoting diversity, teamwork, and inclusion. Grant funds will provide uniforms, equipment, storage space, and scholarships to ensure all youth can participate, regardless of financial need.
