Memphis Teacher Residency recruits, trains, and supports aspiring teachers to serve in under-resourced schools across Memphis. This funding will support the residency program by enabling participants to intern with experienced mentor teachers in high-need schools, preparing them to become licensed educators dedicated to improving educational outcomes for underserved students.

Meritan provides transitional housing and support services to young adults aging out of foster care, helping them build independence and stability. This funding will supply essential home goods, such as cookware and cleaning supplies, for Shelby County’s first residential program for female foster youth transitioning to independent living.

Multinational Memphis helps limited English-speaking families achieve academic success and emotional well- being. Funding will support the AfterschoolsmARTs program, offering tutoring, art therapy, and family engagement for immigrant children in Memphis.

Palmer Home for Children provides residential foster care in a family-like environment for vulnerable children, focusing on holistic healing through trauma-informed care and the Whole Child Initiative. Funding will support the "Feed A Family" program, ensuring nutritious meals for children and caregivers in Palmer Home for Children cottages to promote physical and emotional well-being.
