Funding will support CITI Camp, an 8-week summer program offering enriching activities like art, swimming, and literacy for 10-20 children, enabling parents to work or secure housing while ensuring a safe and engaging space for their kids.
Southern College of Optometry provides comprehensive vision care services to underserved school-aged children in Shelby County, ensuring that no child is denied treatment due to an inability to pay. Funding will support the iCareforKids program, covering eye exams, clinical testing, vision therapy, eyeglasses, and prescription sports eyewear for over 2,000 children.
The Arc Northwest Mississippi supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through life skills programs. Funding will help launch "Let’s Get Cookin’," a kitchen skills program fostering independence, confidence, and healthy habits.
